MicroVest was founded in 2003 and was one of the earliest dedicated microfinance funds in the industry.

We exist to promote economic and social development in underserved populations by supporting local entrepreneurs with capital, access to markets, and advice.
SEAF has no shareholders, and any residual profits go back into our core mission.

The MicroVest executive and portfolio team draws on decades of senior financial institutions investing, operating, and analysis experience across more than 80 countries in every region of the world.
