Anna Copplind is Counsel at SEAF, and serves as MicroVest’s Legal Officer, responsible for coordinating closing and disbursement processes for MicroVest’s investments, including providing assistance with portfolio company due diligence, KYC/AML checks, documentation, liaising with local counsel and clients, as well as providing ongoing corporate legal support.  She is the Secretary to the MicroVest Investment Committee, and serves in the same role for SEAF’s Global Investment and Global Credit Committees, as well as to SEAF’s Board of Directors.

Prior to joining MicroVest in 2019, Anna was a contractual Attorney at the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest) responsible for delegating facilities and special programs financing to provide accessible funding to SMEs across Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to IDB Invest, she served as the Legal Counsel for Cap Cana, S.A. and Corporate Legal Advisor to Grupo Abrisa, a resort development corporation in the Dominican Republic.

Anna received a Masters of Law in International Legal Studies from the American University, and her Juris Doctor from Universidad Iberoamericana in Santo Domingo. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
