Salome is a Senior Investment Officer at SEAF, working with the MicroVest funds on financial sector investments in the Caucasus and Central Asia.  She is responsible for originating and underwriting transactions, due diligence, and monitoring portfolio company performance.

Based in Tbilisi, Salome has more than 15 years of experience with SEAF, having worked on the Georgia Regional Development Fund, Caucasus Growth Fund, India Agribusiness Fund, and most recently the Economic Empowerment Fund for Uzbekistan.  Prior to this she held financial roles with global development firms ACDI/VOCA and World Vision.

She holds a Ph.D in Business Administration and Management from Ilia State University.
