Tom is SEAF’s President and Vice Chairman for Asia and the Americas, and a member of the MicroVest Investment Committee. A career financial institutions investor, Tom was a bank regulator with the Federal Reserve Banks of New York and Dallas, and a top-ranked sell-side analyst and Director of Research in the US and Asia for banks including Keefe Bruyette and Woods, Mizuho Securities, Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers, and Salomon Brothers. Prior to SEAF, Tom was a hedge fund manager with Nighthawk Capital in Hong Kong, and Morgan Stanley’s FrontPoint Financials fund in New York.
He holds degrees from both Fordham University and Johns Hopkins University, and is currently a Lecturer in International Finance at the University at Albany, SUNY.
